Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members

 

We thank you for supporting the Cheongpyeong workshops, and pray that God and True Parents’ love will always be with you.

 

On the “Day of Victory of Love,” January 2, 2003, True Parents extended the following special grace: “As you do ancestor liberation on your Father’s side, if you had instances wherein you liberated unmarried first generation individuals among your siblings (or your own direct children), or unmarried collaterals, then you must hold the Blessing Ceremony separately for these Unmarried Spirits.” In accordance with their words, the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center, under the guidance of Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim, plans to hold such a Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members.

 

The Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center, through the grace of God and True Parents, will hold the Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members, as listed below (former title: Blessing Ceremony for the Unmarried Spirits of Direct and Collateral Lines), prior to Foundation Day. Please inform those eligible members of this, so that they will attend the ceremony.  

 

Please note that this official memo is intended for members living outside of Korea and Japan.

 

1. Time Period:

 

12. 8 – 12. 9 by the Heavenly Calendar in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi (January 19 – 20, 2013)

 

The “Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members” will be held during the time of the Special Great Works to Commemorate the 18th Anniversary of Cheongpyeong Works, from January 18 (Fri) -20 (Sun), 2013. The Ceremony will be held together with the Ancestor Blessing Ceremony on the morning of January 20.

 

2. Place: Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center

 

3. Eligible Members:

 

1) Attending Participants

Among those who liberated 1st generation spirits, those individuals who liberated unmarried spirits

 

2) Candidates for Matching (spirits)

Those Spirits, age 16 years old and above, according to the earthly age. (The deceased unmarried spirit whose birthday comes before January 19, 1997, and whose date of liberation through a collateral liberation (special liberation) was prior to October 7, 2012)

 

Attention: Members who liberated generations 1 to 7 on the Father’s side by January, 2003, could liberate unmarried brothers and sisters, and non-blessed children who passed away. At that time, the liberation could be conducted without writing the spirits’ name at the time of registration. However, you have to write down the name of those spirits who will be receiving the blessing at the time of registration for the blessing ceremony. For a spirit who did not have a name, or who you do not know the name, please give a suitable name for the spirit.

  

4. Date of Arrival: By 9 pm, January 19, 2013 (Must register for the 2-day workshop)

 

5. Materials to prepare:

 

1) Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the individual (participant)

 (A Holy Ring and Holy Robe for the spirit are not required)

 

2) Special Donation of Gratitude for the Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members (The donation standard for each spirit depends on their nationality.)

3) The printed copy of the pre-registration form sent by e-mail.

6. Points to consider

 

1) Due to this special grace, even if the person who liberated the spirit has not completed the liberation donation for generations 1-7 on the Father’s side, you are able to participate in the Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members.

 

2) If the Collateral Liberation donation for each unmarried spirit has not yet been paid, it must be offered at the time of registration for the blessing.

 

3) If, for any reason, the person who liberated the spirit cannot come to Cheongpyeong in person, another member can apply on their behalf. (age 16 and over). If you cannot attend even through a representative, then please attend the next Blessing Ceremony for the Spirits of Unmarried 1st Generation Members. A representative can represent as many people as they wish. In other words, one person can participate as a representative for many people.

 

• You can bless all the unmarried spirits of the persons you are representing.

• The person who is blessing through a representative also needs to pay the registration fee (25000won) even if they are not attending in person.

 

4) If you are not sure about the age of the spirit at the time of passing, then please attend the blessing ceremony when you are sure that your spirit has reached the age.

 

5) Participants must register for the 2-day workshop on January 19 (Saturday).
